Where we started
Corey and Peter Stone's father started an electrical company in Corner Brook in the 1990s. Peter began working with him out of school. The shop grew up doing residential and commercial electrical work across western Newfoundland.
Where we are now
A few years ago, Corey and Peter rebranded as Pro Electrical & HVAC and turned the focus toward heat pumps and oil-to-electric conversions — work that lined up with the TakeCharge rebate program and the broader shift homeowners were making to get off oil heat.
The team is now nine people: two owners, five installers and technicians, and two office and project staff. We've completed 300+ projects across Newfoundland and we're not slowing down.
What hasn't changed
- We still pull every permit.
- We still service the rural communities other contractors won't drive to.
- Peter's still a Code 1 electrician signing off on the electrical work himself.
